BSP demands sites for Palemadu villagers

Madikeri: Bhoomi Mathhu Vasathi Hakku Vanchitara Horata Samithi leader Sirimane Nagaraj  has urged the district administration to provide sites to Palemadu Kanshiramnagar residents immediately. Addressing the gathering of  BSP and other organisations  after a jatha from Palemadu to DC office recently, he said that the administration showed lot of interest in sanctioning land for a cricket stadium but ignored residents who are living without basic amenities. BSP leader Marasandra Muniyappa  alleged that district minister M R Seetharam  is from a rich class, he could not understand  problems and pains of poor.

The speakers urged the government to take stringent action against officers, police who desecrated Dr B R Ambedkar while removing boards last month. State BSP president Mahesh,leaders Prem kumar, Mohsin, Abdul and others were present.
