Education without human values futile: Nagaraja Rao

“Discipline is the only key for success,” said H M Nagaraja Rao, epigraphist at the annual day celebration of Gopalaswamy Shishuvihara Educational Institutions on Friday.

After inaugurating the programme, he said: “Children should develop hunger for knowledge to hone excellence in order to succeed in their careers. By adopting a disciplined lifestyle, children can hope for quality education.”

“In order to achieve excellence, they should self monitor themselves in terms of sleep, concentration, food style and book reading habits. There cannot be any achievements possible without courage, determination, will power and most importantly dreams,” he added.

“An education without human value is futile, as education alone cannot deliver the social justice. Thus our ambitions should be to have an education comprising of social and human values”, he said.

Dr G Hemanth Kumar, vice president, MET and more than 300 students were present.
