Gowrishankar Swamiji, former successor of Siddhaganga Mutt Seer, passed away on Wednesday at 4 am at KIMS Hospital in Bengaluru. He was 71.
He was suffering from paralysis and was admitted to hospital three months back. The Swamiji had filed a case in court for the post of successor of seer Shivakumar Swamii of Siddhaganga Mutt.
He was residing at Gullahalli village where he had built a Siddhaganga mutt after being sent out of the ashrama due to his row over succession for the Siddhaganga mutt and also allegations of homosexual activities in the mutt.
