Held discussion with Vishwanath twice, says Kumaraswamy

Mysuru

“I have already discussed twice with former MP H Vishwanath about his political moves,” said JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy.  He was addressing the media in Mysuru on Tuesday.

“Vishwanath has told that he would decide about his next political move in the coming days. He deserves respect at this time of his political career. We have not yet discussed about giving a party ticket or any position in the party,” Kumaraswamy  added.

“The JD(S) candidates list will be soon announced. We have offered prayers at Nanjanagud and Chamundi temples. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited Mandya district which has witnessed a large number of farmer suicides and spoke like a stand-up comedian. How will he have concern for the farmers? In the four years of Congress governance, the government has achieved nothing. The public will teach them a lesson for their corruption in the coming general elections. Announcing no packages to the dead farmers is the achievement of this government,” he chided.

MLA Sa Ra Mahesh, Mayor M J Ravi Kumar and party workers were present. (MR/KS)
