It is everyone’s responsibility to keep Mysuru clean: Mayor MJ Ravi Kumar

Mysuru, July 15:- DTS Foundation of Mysuru organised ‘Cleanliness drive’ at the footsteps of Chamundi Hills and premises prior to vardhanthi of Goddess Chamundeshwari, here on Saturday.

Mayor M J Ravi Kumar inaugurated the cleanliness drive.

“Mysuru is known as heritage city. It is the responsibility of each and every citizen to maintain cleanliness and maintain high standards of hygiene in the city. If we keep our premises clean, diseases like dengue won’t come near us,” he said.

BJP leader H V Rajeev, DTS Foundation chairman D T Prakash, Raghuram Vajapayee, corporator M V Ramaprasad, district Brahmins’ Youth Association president Mulluru Guruprasad, vice president H N Sridhara Murthy, general secretary Vikram Aiyangar, Ajay Shastri, Shrikanth Kashyap, Ranganath Lakshmidevi, Cable Mahesh, Rajagopalachar, Kadakola Jagadish and others were present.
