Labours federation stages protest

Mysuru, June 21:- Karnataka state electricity work labours federation staged protest urging for permanent employment on Wednesday.

The protesters said that more than 250 employees are removed from work in the name of direct appointment. Though the High Court ordered the government to make 37 gangmen as permanent employees, no action has been taken. They urged the department to implement equal wage for equal work.

President of the federation Satyababu, CITU state president Varalakshmi, Shivakumar, Balaji and others were present. (GK)
