Lawyer breathes last in court

Advocate and former president of Muslim Cooperative Bank, Fayaz Mohamed (72) died while attending a case at the court in the city on Tuesday.

The deceased Fayaz is the son of English poet, late Faqir Mohamed Saheb and was a resident of Mandi Mohalla. He is survived by wife and two daughters.

Namaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 1.30 pm after Namaz-e-Zohar at Masjid-e-Eidgah, Mandi Mohalla, followed by burial at the Old Khabarasthan behind Central Jail, Pullikeshi Road Cross on Wednesday. Mir Humayun, president of the bank, Fazlulla Shariff, general manager and directors have condoled the death.
