The revised textbooks for state board schools will be introduced from the coming academic year, said Primary and Higher Education Minister Tanveer Sait, here on Tuesday.
Replying to a debate on the controversial revision of textbooks in the Legislative Council, he said textbook revision committee, headed by Baragur Ramachandrappa, has followed the guidelines laid down for this purpose. The revised syllabus has been approved by the government and printing is currently on, he added.
