There’s life beyond social media: Nagawara

Mysuru, May 17:- “Youth who are attracted by the modern lifestyle are forgetting their culture. They should come out of social media and preserve the rich heritage of the land,” said Dr Kalegowda Nagawara.

He was speaking after inaugurating Kannada Janapada Parishat of Chamundeshwari constituency at Srirampura on Tuesday.

“Indian culture has its own values in the world. The responsibility of preserving this culture is in the hands of the youth. They should not waste time on WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter,” he said.

Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah, state president of Kannada Janapada Parishat Dr S Balaji and others were present. (MR/BM).
