Two-day national karate tournament from tomorrow

Mysuru, May 26:- “All India Karate Federation is organising  two-day national level karate tournament from tomorrow,” said organiser M Rambo Kiran. He was addressing a press meet at the Mysuru Press Club on Friday.

“The tournament will be held at NIE indoor stadium. District In-charge Minister Dr H C Mahadevappa will inaugurate the tournament at 10 am. MP Dhruvanarayan, Commissioner of Police Dr A Subrahmanyeshwara Rao, Forest Officer Karikalan, Lokayuktha official J K Rashmi, P R Ramesh, Director of State Police Training Academy, Dr Dharanidevi Malagatti, M A Nataraj and others will be present,” he said.

“The valedictory programme will be held on May 28 at 5 pm. Superintendent of Police Ravi D Channannavar, Mayor M J Ravi Kumar, MCC Commissioner G Jagadish, ACP C Mallik, Assistant Director of Akashavani H Srinivas and others will be present on the occasion,” he said.

More than 600 participants from more than 16 states will take part. They will be provided accomodation at Nanjaraja Bahaddur Chathra.

Chandrasekhar, R Ganesh, Ramachandra Pathre and others were present at the press meet. (MR/KMR).
