The 42nd branch of St Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-operative Bank was inaugurated in city on Sunday.
MLA Vasu who inauugurated the bank, said, “Co operatives are a growing industry and it requires continuous support of the people. “The bank is playing a vital role in country’s development and is offering various benefits to the members, In this regard the decision to open a branch in Mysuru is an appreciable job,” he added.
St Milagres Credit Souhardha Co-operative Bank, a Karwar based cooperative bank has topped in the list of highest turnover in the regions of north Karnataka. The bank is having a turnover of Rs 1293 crores and has more than fifty thousand members. In Karwar region the bank has made a remarkable 85% of recovery which is high compared to any other nationalised or scheduled bank.
