At theatre, learning begins when a person faces up to have multiple characters with humanistic approaches: Prasanna
B V Karanth College Rangotsava-2016, organised with the philosophy of theatre for learning, was inaugurated at the Rangayana premises, on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, theatre personality Prasanna said: “Theatre takes in a person who has humbleness and who strives to develop interpersonal development. At theatre, learning begins when a person faces up to have multiple characters with humanistic approaches and Karanth College Rangotsava provides a platform to expose his talent and aims to make students’ the sculptures of cultural well being.”
Later, the first day event was kick-started with a unique music programme ‘Aikyathe’ by Shoonya team. A new version of Vatapi Ganapathi, Keeravani Ragam and Middle East music was performed on the occasion. Beats of African instrument Jambe was presented by the team which enthralled the audience. Later, students of Mahajana’s Degree College staged a play titled Agnatha Kanasugalu.
Rangayana Director H Janardhan, deputy director of Rangayana Nirmala Matapathi and others were present.
