Mysuru, May 11:- “Various schemes have been introduced in the country since independence to ensure development of all. But no equality has been brought in the field of education,” said Education Minister Tanveer Sait.
He was speaking at ET-17, the use of Technology in education organised by Swami Vivekananda youth movement at Senate hall of Manasagangotri on Thursday.
“People have a notion that government schools are for poor and private schools are for the rich. Such feeling should be abolished to enable Universal education for all. All the Government schools will be provided with visual media to teach. 1000 schools have been selected for the first phase and 1000 schools will be provided with the same in the second phase,” he added.
President of Jnana Ayoga K Kasthoori Rangan, Founder president of Vivekananda youth movement Dr R Balasubrahmaniam and others were present. (BM)
