16th Investiture ceremony held at De Paul International Residential School

Mysuru, June 21:- The 16th formal Investiture ceremony was held on Wednesday at De Paul International Residential School, Mysuru, with the objective of inducting school students into leadership roles.

The ceremony began with invoking God’s blessings to empower our future leaders through an invocation dance.

Lavanya B N, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP), Mandya, who was the chief guest, addressed the newly elected school cabinet members and emphasised the importance of nurturing leadership qualities among students in their formative years, making them responsible citizens of the country.

Lavanya conferred badges to the 26 student council members and administered the oath of office. The students pledged to adhere to the values and principles upheld by the school.

The investiture ceremony was also honoured by the Principal of DPIRS Rev Fr Aneesh Mathew CM.

He congratulated the students and called upon them to imbibe leadership qualities by giving their best.

The head boy and the head girl of the newly elected school cabinet Master Nayan Rajesh and Anagha Sridhar also addressed the students.

Rev Fr C Wilson, Rev Fr Jarvicks Fernandez, Rev Fr Libin P Varghese and Rev Fr Lourduswamy graced the occasion. -(NGB)
