Mysuru, March 27:-Department of Studies in Business Administration, BN Bahadur Institute of Management Studies, University of Mysore is organising two days international conference on New Horizons of Industrial Revolution 4.0 at Rani Bahadur Auditorium on March 28, 29 in the city.
Theme of the conference
Industrial Revolution 4.0 is about a world shaped by advanced technologies from the physical, digital and biological space that combine to create innovation in a volatile, uncertain and non linear environment at a speed and scale unprecedented in human history. These transformations are changing how individuals, government and companies relate to each other and the world at large. These developments have profound impact on creating businesses that are trust worthy, sustainable, inclusive and deliver value to all the stake holders. This conference will be an exploration for the following themes that constitute the emerging horizons of Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Sub themes of conference
Some of the sub themes selected among the 32 are; AI, Internet of things, digital transformation, speech recognition/Machine learning, addictive manufacturing and other themes.
Prof G Hemanth Kumar, Vice-chancellor, UoM, Prof Lingaraja Gandhi, Registrar, UoM will be the patrons in the conference. Dr R Mahesh, Prof and Chairman will be the conference convener. Dr S J Manjunath, Prof, Dr Amulya M, Asst Prof will be the organising Secretaries and Dr Aisha M Sheriff, Prof, Dr D Anand, Prof and Dean, Faculty of Commerce will be the conference advisors.
