2nd PUC examinations: 1472 students absent for Kannada paper

Prime News, Karnataka, Education, Mysuru, April 29:- The Second PUC examinations began in Karnataka last Friday (April 22). In the Kannada exam which was held Thursday (April 28), 1472 students were absent in the district.

Of the 22,820 students who registered for the examinations at 50 centres, only 21,348 attended the exam. The absentees include newcomers, repeaters and private candidates. The repeaters and private candidates were absent in large numbers. (AM/KS)
