388 vehicles seized for violating lockdown

Mysuru, April 4:- The number of coronavirus patients is increasing rapidly in Mysuru district. With an eye on controlling the spread of the virus, Section 144 has been implemented but strangely though, people are not taking the lockdown seriously. People coming out of their houses for no apparent reason has become a common sight. Around 388 vehicles have been seized so far. Three fifty-two two-wheelers, 10 three-wheelers, 26 four-wheelers have been seized.

DCP Dr AN Prakash Gowda told that the police have seized the vehicles as people were not respecting the lockdown situation in the country. (MR/KS).
