Mysuru, June 1:- The state government is organising a mega convention to mark the successful completion of 4 years of its regime on June 3 at Maharaja college ground. Minister H Anjaneya visited the spot on Wednesday and inspected the preparations for the convention.
Speaking to the media after the visit, he said, “We have organised hundreds of public welfare programmes since our government came to power. We have constructed many hostels. Around Rs 27,000 crore has been spent on various projects. We will come back to power in the next elections as well. Congress is the only party to make a dalit as its state president. The ban on cow slaughter is not right. Government has no right over one’s food,” he added. (MR/BM).
