Lakshmipuram police holds public grievance meet

Mysuru, May 21:- Lakshmipuram police have organised a meeting with the public to know their problems.

Speaking at the meeting, the public complained that the youths ride their vehicles carelessly and it has created fear among other riders. They also said that during programs at the bhavan, vehicles are being parked everywhere and it causes problems to the commuters. Sub inspector Murthy assured them of solving the problems.

Meeting was also held at Saraswathipuram police station in the presence of inspector Poovaiah. The police explained the public the ways of being safe. They also suggested the public not to exhibit the jewels they wear. Whenever they leave the home for 4-5 days, it is better to inform the police station nearby, they suggested. Public and police officials were present in the meeting. (KS)
