88 new Covid-19 infection takes Mysuru’s tally to 52,045

Mysuru, December 25:-Mysuru district’s cumulative positive cases of Covid-19 shot up to 52,045 with the addition of 88 new infections on Thursday (December 24), according to bulletin from Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Karnataka.

As many as 40 patients have been discharged from designated hospitals after recoveries taking its tally of total recoveries to 50,544, of the total 52,045 positive cases, 492 are active in the district and are stable.

The Mysuru district also has not reported any fatality on Thursday as the Karnataka state has reported single deaths from Bengaluru Urban and the district’s fatality stands at 1008.

A total of 5,92,290 samples have been processed in the district of which 52,045 tested positive and 50,544 are recovered from the coronavirus leaving 492 still infected and undergoing treatment at various hospitals across the district, also the virus has claimed the lives of 1008 patients as of December 24 evening.

Out of 30 districts, only one death was recorded in the state on Thursday since the pandemic broke out in March.
