99 Covid-19 cases surface in Mysuru on July 15

47 people succumb to coronavirus in the district

Mysuru, July 16:- Mysuru district registered 99 coronavirus cases on Wednesday (July 15). The number of coronavirus cases has reached 1,190 in the district while 47 people have lost their lives so far.

The district has 640 active cases and 503 patients have recovered and discharged from the hospital. Six patients have lost their lives that include a 14-year-old boy, senior citizen doctor, 73-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, 49-year-old man and a 53-year-old man.

Five patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday. 254 patients are being treated at Covid-19 District Hospital, 65 patients at other hospitals, 49 patients at Covid Care Centres and 53 patients at private hospitals. 219 patients have been quarantined at home. Twelve patients are in ICU. 2,100 people are in home quarantine in the district. 29,420 people have been tested in the district so far. (MR/KS)
