Mysuru, February 21:- “A government of goons is active in Karnataka. Earlier the criminal activities were taking place in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, now it is taking place in Karnataka,” alleged Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha city president Gokul Govardhan at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Wednesday.
“Son of MLA N A Haris, Mohammed Haris Nalapad and a close aide of NA Haris MLA Bhyrati Basavaraj, Narayan Swamy, have exhibited the behaviour of goons and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has failed to take any action against such goondaism in the state,” he said.
Govardhan listed out the criminal activities that took place in the state under Congress rule and alleged that state is number one in the murder of Hindu activists and in harassment of honest officials.
He warned of an indefinite hunger strike in front of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s residence in Mysuru if no action is taken against the criminals.
Secretary B Sampath, B Somashekhar, Bharath Ramaswamy and others were present. (MR/KMR).
