As many as 233 job offers were generated at the recently concluded campus recruitment drive at Amrita University, Mysuru campus, for its students graduating in 2016.
The placement status of post-graduate students, MCA and M Com, stands at 95 percent. MCA students secured placement in multinational companies such as Cerner Healthcare, Zoho Corporation, Unisys, TCS, CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and UST Global with salary offers ranging from Rs 3.4 lakh to Rs 6.5 lakh per annum.
Extending its placement assistance to undergraduate students as well, the university was able to generate very good offers by placing them in MNCs such as Unisys, IBM, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Capgemini, TESCO and Digicaptions. Salary package ranging between Rs 1.8 lakh to Rs 3 lakh per annum.

Amrita, Mysuru campus is working closely with the Department of Collegiate Education and the training and placement officers of the government and private colleges in and around Mysuru to promote Pooled Campus Recruitment Drive.
Persistent efforts in this direction have resulted in many students securing multiple placement offers from leading companies.
In all, 457 placement offers have been received during the pooled campus drive organised for final year students, he noted.
