ABVP demands death sentence for guilty in Hathras case

Mysuru, October 3:- Akhila Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Saturday (October 3) condemned the Hathras incident and demanded the guilty be punished with the death sentence.

ABVP volunteers, who were protesting near the deputy commissioner’s (DC) office here, said “Women in India are held in high esteem. The rape and murder of a Dalit woman in Hathras is a heinous crime. There should be no second thought in punishing them with the death sentence. The government should also help the country realise Mahatma Gandhi’s Ram Rajya.”

ABVP’s organising secretary Sharath, volunteers Rachana, Nagashree, Suhas and Sunil were present. (MR/KS)
