Mysuru, September 3:- A Taluk Panchayat engineer and a PDO were trapped by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths while they were accepting a bribe. They had demanded Rs 4,000 as a bribe from a person.
Anjan, K R Nagar TP engineer and Ankanahalli PDO Ramaswamy fell to the trap laid by the ACB Police.
A resident of Shabalu village had to get Rs 80,000 from the state government. He had approached Anjan and Ramaswamy to help him out when they demanded the bribe. ACB Police, who had the information, arrested both of them. (MR/KS)
