Mysuru, November 16:- Deputy Commissioner D Randeep has said that accommodation will be provided to women who take part in Kannada Sahitya Sammelana and better transportation facility will also be provided to them.
He was addressing the meeting of women’s sub-committee of the convention held at DC office on Wednesday. He assured that tableaus of women achievers will be exhibited during the convention as requested by the sub-committee members. Women have asked for separate seating arrangement, rest rooms, medical facility and food section to help them.
President of the convention will be brought in a procession in a chariot.
Karnataka Zoo Authority chairperson Mallige Veeresh, district medical officer Dr Basavaraju, deputy director of Kannada and Culture department H Chennappa and others were present. (MR/KS).
