Achievement requires hard work: Mummadi Shivarudra

Mysuru, October 12:- “Those who remain lazy in life can’t achieve anything. Understand the culture and walk on the path of success,” said seer Mummadi Shivarudra of Maralegavi mutt here on Thursday.

He was speaking at the 102nd birth anniversary of seer Dr Shivarathri Rajendra at JSS College for Women, Saraswathipuram.

“JSS Group is known for discipline. Mutts cultivate tradition and culture of the land. No one should talk lightly about religions. India is a land of multi culture. Religious centres are contributing in their own way for the development of nation. Mutts and seers work for the betterment of the society expecting nothing in return,” he said.

“Dr Shivarathri Rajendra grew because of his conduct. He considered the society as his and the development of the society as his duty. worked for the poor. He was not just a human being but an institution. Starting as a small institution, JSS has grown to a great level today. He never discriminated anyone in the name of caste or religion,” said Dr B V Vasanthakumar.

Chairperson of MCC standing committee, Seema Prasad distributed endowment prizes to students. Dr S P Umadevi, who was recently awarded PhD, was felicitated on the occasion. Nitin Rajaram Shastry and team presented Geetha Namana programme on the occasion.
