Mysuru, August 3:- “Taluk Panchayat member M S S Kumar has been appointed as a member to the Syndicate of University of Mysore,” alleged president of Karnataka Teachers’ Forum, Sharath Raj at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club here on Thursday.
“The issue came to light when it was raised under in RTI Act. A rule of a person to not have two offices has been violated in his appointment. A complaint has been filed and the court asked for all the details. But the Registrar of UoM D Bharathi provided false information,” Raj alleged.
“Kumar is given Rs 5,000 for becoming the Syndicate member. But Bharathi has misguided the government. Action should be taken against Kumar and D Bharathi,” he said.
