Activists stage protest over KPSC reservation row

Mysuru, December 5:- Karnataka Rajya Hindulida Vargagala Jagruta Vedike, Urs Mahasabha, Vishwakarma Mandala, Research Students’ Association, BVS Mysuru, District Uppara Association, Kumbara Association, and District Savitha Sangharsha Samithi members staged a protest in the city on Wednesday, condemning the state government’s decision on reservation issue in Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC).

They staged a silent protest by paying floral tributes to the statue of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar on Mysuru-Ooty Road here. They urged the government to implement the reservation matrix of 1995 and to take back the recent orders.

Thinker Prof K S Bhagawan, corporator H S Prakash, Nandish Urs, Chikkaswamy, Chandrashekhar, Vinod Kumar, C T Acharya and others were present. (KS, NGB)
