Prime News, National, Mumbai, May 18:- Noted actress Reema Lagoo passed away on Thursday due to cardiac arrest.
The actress known for her roles in movies like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun,’ ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ and ‘Vaastav’ and TV shows like ‘Shrimaan Shrimati’ and ‘Tu Tu Main Main’ was admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital Wednesday night when she complained of chest pain. She eventually died of cardiac arrest.
Lagoo has also worked in superhit films like “Maine Pyar Kiya”, “Saajan”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” and, “Hum Saath-Saath Hain” among others.
Her acting career spanned over four decades and she was last seen in the television show “Naamkaran,” aired on Star Plus.
The actress was born on May 18 in 1958 and appeared in Marathi, Hindi films and television shows, serving the industry for nearly four decades.
She is survived by daughter Mrunmayee, who is also a theatre and film actress and theatre director.
