Advocates’ stir enters fourth day

Mysuru, January 25:- The protest of the advocates entered 4th day today.

The advocates said that inspector of Nazarbad police station Yallalinga assaulted advocate Gokul Govardhan when he was at the station to file a complaint. They demanded that the inspector should be suspended. The boycott of courts by the advocates began on Monday.

“An FIR has been filed against Yallalinga, but he has not been suspended. This is the fourth day today and we will intensify the protests if he is not suspended,” said the president of State Bar Association, PP Hegde.

Hundreds of advocates took part in the protest. (MR/KS).
