After petrol and diesel, now LPG cylinders to cost more

Mysuru, November 23:-The non-subsidised 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder prices in Mysuru trading close to Rs 1000 after hitting a record level in November.

The LPG cylinder was priced at Rs 883.5 in October, the current cylinder price in Mysuru is Rs 945.50, an increase of Rs 62.

It is the common man who is hit hard by the rising prices of LPG cylinder as all other prices associated with cylinder witnessed a steep hike such as food in hotels and restaurants.

The rise in LPG prices has been attributed to rise in international fuel prices. The depreciation of rupee against US dollar also had its impact, but the rupee value recovers lately and may bring down the prices of fuel and LPG prices in December.

The commercial 19 kg LPG cylinder is hovering around Rs 1631.50 as against Rs 1535 in October, an increase of Rs 96.5. The 5 kg domestic cylinder priced at 342.5 is selling at Rs 453.
