All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), Mysuru, was recently awarded first prize for better ‘Official language implementation’ at the institute.
Dr S R Savithri, Director of AIISH was honoured with ‘Rajbhasha Shree’ title for overall development of Hindi at the institute. The title was conferred upon her for the second time for dissemination of information to the people in the language of their choice i.e., in Hindi.
The honour and awards were presented during the All India Official Language Conference held recently at Munnar in Kerala, which was organised by Rajbhasha Seva Sansthan, New Delhi, led by its Director Dr V K Agarwal. Dr H P Uma Saraswathi, Hindi translator participated in the conference and received the awards.
