“The state government’s decision to make Jog Falls an all-season waterfalls is a blunder. Pumping the water upwards the Jog Falls and making it to fall again is against the nature. No one has the right to go against nature for the purpose of amusement. It is a foolish decision to harm a river, forest in the name of tourism is unpardonable,” said renowned theatre personality and social worker Prasanna, in a press release.
“The government says that private companies will invest on this project. Are private companies people-friendly?” asked Prasanna.
