AMRUT Project: Mysuru to get Rs 400 crore

The city will get its share of Rs 400 crore under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) project for the overall development. The majority the amount, Mayor B L Bhyrappa said, would be spent on ensuring 24/7 drinking water supply, water management and development of the parks.

The Mayor was jubilant after Modi praised the MCC for maintaining the city clean and bagging the number one clean city tag under SBM for the second time in a row.

MCC Commissioner Dr C G Betsurmath, Additional Commissioner N Raju, former Mayor Lingappa and others were present on the occasion.
