Anganwadi workers stage massive protest in Mysuru

Mysuru, July 10:- Anganwadi workers staged a massive protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office in the city on Tuesday, urging the state government to fulfill various demands including maternity benefits.

They demanded due recognition to all Anganwadi workers and appointment of helpers at all Anganwadi Centres.

They held a protest march amidst rain from Gun House to the DC’s office.

District president of the Anganwadi Workers’ Association,  Pushpalatha and hundreds of workers participated in the procession. (MR/KS).
