Animals, birds adopted at Mysore Zoo

Mysuru, July 13:- Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, Ittigegudu, Mysuru, in a press release announced that the following persons have adopted animals and birds under “Animal Adoption Scheme” by paying the prescribed adoption fee.

Pratap K S from Bengaluru has adopted Gharital by paying Rs 7,500 for one year period from July 9, 2019 to July 8, 2020 while Sheela Rawat, also from Bengaluru, has adopted Red Lory for Rs 2,000 from July 6, 2019 to July 5, 2020, Skanda A Kumar from Bengaluru has adopted spotted Deer from July 10, 2019 to July 9, 2020 for Rs 7,500.

 

 

 

Rosa Thomas from Bengaluru has adopted Leopard by paying adoption fee of Rs 5,000 from July 10, 2019 to July 9, 2020, Basavaraja B from Bengaluru has adopted Lion-Tailed Macaque for Rs 10,000 from July 10, 2019 to July 9, 2020 and Vishwanath H S from Mandya has adopted King Cobra for Rs 3,500 from July 7, 2019 to July 6, 2020.

The zoo authority has appreciated the gesture of the philanthropists and their involvement in nature and wildlife conservation and hopes that it inspires others and corporates to come forward to adopt the zoo animals and birds. (NAV)
