Another big spike of 200 Covid-19 cases in Mysuru; tally rises to 3,583

128 deaths reported in Mysuru district so far

Mysuru, July 30:- The trend of reporting higher numbers of Covid-19 cases continued in Mysuru district with 200 more new cases surfacing on Wednesday (July 29) and taking the tally to 3,583 with 5 deaths.

The total number of deaths is 128 in Mysuru district so far, next only to Bengaluru Urban which has recorded 987 fatalities in the state.

While 134 patients were cured/discharged from the designated Covid Hospital on July 29, the total number of patients discharged were 1145 till Wednesday. The number of active cases in the district stood at 2,310 and the patients are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and Covid Care Centres (CCCs) in the city.

Mysuru district has recorded 220 cases with 8 deaths on July 28, 200 cases on July 27 with three deaths and on Sunday – July 26, 230 new cases were reported with five deaths. (NAV)
