Mysuru, January 17:- Air connectivity between Mysuru and Belagavi began on Friday.
Arpita Simha, wife of Mysuru-Kodagu Member of Parliament Pratap Simha and Bharatiya Janata Party leader HV Rajeev flagged off the flight at Mandakalli Airport here on Friday morning.
The Trujet flight took off at Mandakalli Airport today at 10:30 am.
BJP leader Rajendra, founder president of Safe Wheels BS Prashanth, director of Mandakalli Airport R Manjunath and others were present.
Around 35 passengers from Belagavi to Mysuru and 35 passengers from Mysuru to Belagavi have booked for the journey.
Meanwhile, the flight will normally leave Belagavi at 9.35 am and will land at Mandakalli Airport in Mysuru at 11 am. The same flight will take off from Mandakalli Airport at 11.20 am and will arrive at Belagavi Airport at 12.45 pm, according to Mandakalli Airport director R Manjunath.
“People travelling to Kolhapur may take this flight as the connecting flight to Kolhapur and will take off from Belagavi Airport at 1.05 pm. Kolhapur is 30 minutes travel from Belagavi Airport by flight.” (MR/KS)
