Art is not everyone’s cup of tea: Dr Vasundhara

Mysuru, September 18:- Dr Vasundhara Doreswamy inaugurated the founding day of Karnataka State Gangubai Hanagal Music and Performing Arts University at Veene Sheshanna Bhavan of Gana Bharati here on Monday.

“Mysuru is the land of art and culture. It is a university for art. Art is not everyone’s cup of tea. Many consider art as a fashion which is not right. Art should be respected and worshiped. Only then, it will be an be an integral part of our life,” she said.

Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Sarvamangala Shankar, Registrar Prof Niranjan Vanalli, H M Gayatri, Prof R Rajesh and others were present. (MR/KS).
