Mysuru, October 5:- “People will reject an artiste if he thinks he has fans and he can do anything. Artistes should have commitment towards the society,” said multilingual actor Prakash Rai at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Friday.
He explained about his book ‘Avaravara Bhavakke’ to be released at Humanities Hall at Manasagangothri here on October 7.
“No artiste can escape saying his behaviour is his personal life. Society has to question some people. It is the responsibility of the society. I am not a politician, but when the time comes, I raise questions that I have to,” he said about his ‘Just Asking’ campaign.
He said that his organisation is working to create a better learning environment at Government Schools in Karnataka.
“I came to know about the knowledge I have towards the film industry when I was writing this book,” he added.
“I had no plans to write a book. But I wrote as my friends asked me to. Mysuru is my favourite place. That is why the book will be released here,” he added. (KMR, NGB)
