Ashada Friday; devotees rush to Chamundi hills
Mysuru, June 30:- Thousands of devotees have rushed to Chamundi hills as Ashada Friday begins. Special flower decorations are made to the temple and Goddess prior to the event. Thousands of devotees were seen standing long queues since morning to offer prayers to the Goddess.
Rudrabhisheka, Panchabhisheka and other pooja were offered to Chamundeshwari at 3 am. Devotees were allowed to enter the temple from 5:30 am.
The temple will be open for the devotees till 10 pm. Various organisations were distributing prasada to the devotees. (KS)
