Assembly Polls: Mysuru district records 67.29 % till 05:00 pm

Mysuru, May 12:- Mysuru district comprising of eleven constituencies recorded a total of 67.29% of poll till 05:00 pm.

As many as 147 candidates are in the fray in eleven Assembly segments in the district and the district has 2,860 polling stations for a total of 24,93,407 voters.

Periyapatna constituency with 81.2% stands top in the list of highest number polling constituency in the district followed by K R Nagar and Varuna constituency which has recorded 76.5% and 73.85 % respectively. With 46.84% votes Narasimharaja constituency has stood last in the list.

With still half an hour left, the Mysuru district has improved the polling percentage by nearly 2-3% compared to the previous election (2013) which had recorded 65.83% of polls.

Piriyapatna constituency- 81.2%

KR Nagar constituency – 76.5%

Hunsur constituency – 71.99%

H D Kote Constituency- 69.52%

Nanjangud constituency – 71.81%

Chamundeshwari constituency -69.72%

Krishnaraja constituency – 54%

Chamaraja constituency – 53.16%

Narasimharaja constiteuncy- 46.84%

Varuna – 71.85%

T Narasipura – 71.6%
