Assembly polls: Nayaka community urges BJP to give 5 tickets

Mysuru, March 29:- M Puttanna, organising secretary of Mysuru and Chamarajanagar District Nayakara Kshemabhivrudhi Sangha has urged the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to give tickets to at least five members of the community to contest Assembly polls from Mysuru and Chamarajanagar districts, at a press meet held at Mysuru Press Club on Thursday.

“There are more than 5 lakh voters of the community. Our candidates will win in Hunsur, Malavalli and Hanur Constituences. Ticket should be given to the community members,” he said.

He thanked all the BJP leaders for announcing Parivara and Talavara communities as Scheduled Tribe and said that the community would support BJP in the Assembly elections.

Mahadeva Nayaka, M C Subbanna, Rama Nayaka, M Ramachandra, Sundar Kumar and others were present. (KMR, NGB)
