ATMECE Mysuru witnesses surge in placements

Prime News, Karnataka, Education, Engineering, Jobs, Mysuru, December 3:- ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru, has witnessed a steady growth in placements for the outgoing batch. Despite experiencing the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic, the institution has been actively hosting drives in on-campus, virtual and pan-India mode generating more than 340 offers and expected to be complete by year-end. The hiring process initiated from August 2020 is expected to support students till December 2021.

More than 80 companies have collaborated for the campus drives to date and close to 100 companies in total are expected to extend the hiring process. The highest package is Rs 14 lakh. The hiring companies included a blend of IT and core companies across all branches.

Few of the elite recruiters include Amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, DXC Technologies, Delloite, Fidelity GS, HempactInc, Infosys, Wipro, Mindtree, Mphasis, NTT Data, etc. The average salary package is around 3.5 lakh per annum. The institution has witnessed a more than 30% hike in average salary. The hiring conversion has stood at more than 80 percent.

The college supports state-of-the-art infrastructure and has strengthened industry connections at the local and pan-India level.

Training and Placement Officer Deepak M V S mentioned about skilling students on technical, aptitude, soft skills and domain-specific training courses on CISCO, Microsoft certifications, etc., have been done regularly to bolster placements. Emphasis has also been done in the area of higher education, entrepreneurship, etc., for holistic professional growth. In the previous year, the college has also held mega campus drives for companies like Infosys, etc. (MR)
