Mysuru, August 22:- ATME College of Engineering signed an MOU with RMJ Automation Solutions and Training Pvt limited recently.
Dr L Basavaraj, Principal, ATME College of Engineering, said the fast changing technological scenario poses to the department, a challenge, for continuously updating of state-of-the-art education to the students. He congratulated the department for initiating such activity.
Dr Parthasarathy L, Head, Department of EEE said the objectives of training was to make students competent enough to take on real time application work in the field of Industrial Automation that involves PLC, SCADA & Drives.
This is intended to support students for good and greater job opportunities and also to reduce the gap between Industries and Engineering Institution. He further said VTU has introduced Sensors and Transducers for 5th semester students, which incidentally will cover in the practical training module as well.
Kiran Pathak, Director, RMJ Automation Solutions and Training Pvt Ltd said there are four levels of training. Level 0 will cover Sensors Transducers; Level 1 on PLC and its interfacing with sensors and Transducers, Level 2 on SCADA and its interfacing with PLC, Level 3 will cover PLC and SCADA for Industrial Applications.
She further said the MOU was To support DEEE students related to automation/ PLC / SCADA /DRIVES based projects, To conduct hands on training for DEEE students on Sensors, PLC, SCADA Drives for students at the premises of ATMECE Mysuru, To conduct Faculty Development Program (FDP) on automation tools in the premises of ATMECE Mysuru and to support DEEE faculty in R & D and allied works.
