Atrocities on Dalits: Protest staged against Modi govt’s inaction

Mysuru, April 6:- The members of Mysuru Wing of Karnataka Dalita Vedike staged a protest in front of Deputy Commissioner’s office in the city on Friday alleging Modi government has taken no measures to bring down atrocities on Dalits in India.

They alleged that the Surpreme Court’s verdict  on SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act is an attempt to weaken the Dalits through judicial system. They also alleged that the Prime Minister is functioning as a puppet in the hands of Sangh Parivar.
