Awareness campaign against urinating in public held in Mysuru

Mysuru, November 19:- It was a nice way of creating awareness among the public. K M Praveen Kumar Charitable Trust from the city handed over roses to people who were urinating near Lansdowne building and asked them not to do so in future.

“It is a good initiative by KMPK Charitable Trust. People should use public toilets instead of urinating in open places. The MCC should construct more toilets in the city. Public toilets should be added to Google maps. If anyone finds urinating in public, they should be fined Rs 5,000 and made to clean toilets for one day,” said social worker Raghuram Vajapayee.

Former corporator Prashanth Gowda, city president of BSP Basavaraju, Vikram Iyengar, Kumar Gowda, G Raghavendra, S N Rajesh, D K Nagabhushan, Chakrapani, Jayasimha and others were present. (MR/KS)
