Awareness programme on ‘Dial 112’ held at VVCE Mysuru

Mysuru, September 21:- The Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering, Gokulam 3rd Stage, Mysuru, organised an awareness programme for students and staff members on ‘Dial 112’ at Sahukar Channaiah Auditorium of the college on Monday (September 20) as part of an educational programme.

During the awareness programme on ‘Dial 112’ held for over an hour, Mahesh V, Sub-Inspector, office of the District Superintendent of Police, Mysuru, highlighted the use of Dial 112 which is a “one nation one number initiative” launched by the police department to help the general public.

He also mentioned how people can watch the incidents the police department is solving using Instagram, Facebook and Twitter pages. He also explained how one can register complaints in online mode and the use of KPC websites. 

College Principal Dr B Sadashive Gowda, Coordinator Dr Rashmi S and more than 200 staff of VVCE participated in the programme. (NGB)
