Bahumukhi, multi-faces of life on Dec 3

‘Bahumukhi’ play written by renowned litterateur Vivek Shanbhag, directed by Natana School’s teacher Megha Sameera, will be staged on December 3 at Natana Rangashale at 6:30 pm.

The Natana troupe of renowned cine and theatre actor Mandya Ramesh is known for its creativity and staging of unique plays. The Vivek Shanubhag’s play is one such experimental play that shows the multi-faces of the society, which has made an impact on the society.

The play explains the various faces of life. It is a modern history, which tells the story of the 21st century. The plight of the youth, who come from small cities and villages to  big cities to make a livelihood, who suffer being unable to adjust to the lives of the city and not being able to get back to their native, is explained in the play. The Natana team has invited the theatre enthusiasts of the cultural city to take part in the staging of Bahumukhi, which is a faceoff with the societal norms and changing lives.
